    Hello friends,

    i think that by now everyone is aware of importance of everyday practice. Jonathan, for one, is a shining example of consistency and daily practice.
    I have found and attached a sheet that can help you keep track of your practice - one smiley one day!
    As you know : "100 days of practice is discipline - 1000 days is fine tuning"

  2. Ultra Slow

    (This refers to my own practice only and is not a recommendation for anyone else. Nor is it necessarily endorsed by my teacher.)

    I sometimes like to experiment with my Tai Chi practice. One of the ways in which I do that is to vary the speed at which I do the set. The fastest I've ever done it is 10 minutes. The slowest is about just under 25 minutes. My normal speed is between 15 - 20 minutes.

  4. Self defence with TaiChiChuan

    Last week I had another three experiance with using TaichiChuan.

    First a person was angry with me and wantet to grap my wrist and then hitting my face. So we had a good Tui-Shou session for some minutes.

  5. 790/800 Days!

    Today is my 800th day of studying Ip Tai Chi with Rick Losasso. I have practiced Tai Chi on 790 of those 800 days. I have done over 800 sets.

    My goal has been to practice consistently everyday. I decided it was far better for me to do 1 set/day and not 7 sets on one day. Even though they both come out to 7 sets/week, I know for me that the daily practice is by far more beneficial. That is why I only count set per day. If I do 2 sets or more, that's great.
